MEET THE OWNER
A Chicago native, Alisha grew up never really considering the impact of what she was putting in her body and how it could affect not just her physical health but also greatly impact her mental wellbeing. After suffering from post-partum depression and years of reproductive issues, Alisha knew she wanted a better life for herself and her infant son. She began to practice yoga and meditation while also learning about the importance of gut health.
After transitioning to an alkaline vegan diet, Alisha's mental and physical health completely transformed, and she had a powerful realization that adopting this lifestyle was the catalyst that exposed her to the life she had long been yearning for.
This knowledge and experience lead Alisha to want to empower her community to change the trajectory of their lives through healthy living, and thus her desire to create Y.O.L Juice Market was born.
